Frequently Asked Questions

The experts at J & M Window & Door have had a long history of interacting with a diverse range of clients and their specific needs. We have come across a number of common queries that most contractors and clients have raised while availing our services. For your convenience, we have addressed those questions here.

  • Q: Do you have a warranty for your products?
A: Our products carry a minimum twenty (20) year warranty on the PVC window frame and the glass sealed units. These warranties are non prorated and are transferable to the next homeowner.
  • Q: Why does my window look cloudy and blurred?
A: When the seal around the glass panes is broken, condensation takes place. It makes the windows blurry and cloudy. In this case, you don't need to repair the complete unit of the window, and you need to repair the glasses.
  • Q: How do double or triple pane windows work?
A: Double pane windows have two glass panes with a certain space that is filled with either air or a more efficient gas. Triple pane windows have three glass panes with a certain space that is filled with either air or a more efficient gas. This area between the two or three glass panes traps the air or gas for thermal insulation, making it energy–efficient and boosting noise cancellation. The most common gas used is argon but other more efficient gases are available. The use of gas really contributes to the overall efficiency of the windows.
